Crop Top, Bag and necklace : Koovs / Pallazo Pants : Flea Market in Mumbai / Shoes : Metro / Finger Rings : Accessorize
Last to last week I had visited Mumbai to attend a fashion show organised by my office. (For those of you who are new to my blog, I also work as a Design Manager for Arvind Limited (India) Denim Division.) And when you are in Mumbai even for the shortest period of time and love to call yourself a bit of a shopaholic, you have no excuse but to go flea market shopping for sure! For my readers outside India, Mumbai has some of the best flea markets in India! So off I went to Linking Road bearing the scorching sun and came back with this lovely pair of palazzo pants. Given the current temperature of my city, these cobalt palazzos are the comfiest thing in my wardrobe and I can wear them almost everyday! Teaming these pants with a crop top is one of the wisest choices to make (blame again on the weather) and carrying a Aztec printed bag quite completes the look.
Tell me, could you make out from the photographs that it was nearly impossible to keep my eyes open in the bright morning sun?? Precisely the reason why there are quite a few photographs with downcast eyes!! LoL! I let out the secret! If you are a fashion blogger, how else do you successfully click your outfit shoots in extreme weathers? Come on, tell me your secrets to and don’t forget too also let me know thoughts on my look of the day!
I am a coffee addict, quite evident from my blog title isn’t it? Today on Inspiration Wednesday, I chose to take this harmless addiction of mine to an inspirational level. Here is a compilation of some inspirational coffee (and all things coffee related) images that can seriously make you think that coffee after all is lot more than just a drink! Coffee is in fact an integral part in fashion, in beauty, in lifestyle and also in photography and this small cuppa that we mindlessly drink one after another has significantly inspired and influenced a lot of cool and quirky art forms. Today while sipping my piping hot cup of coffee I am also looking at this classy, modern and stylish looking drink with a whole new eye of admiration!
So, what do you think? Has your coffee ever inspired you to do anything different? Or is it just a drink for you? Pour in your thoughts!
Jacket : Only / Top : Alibi Essentials / Jeans :Levi’s / Shoes : Mango / Necklace and Ear Studs : Local Indian shops
Taking my polka fetish to a new level with this lovely polka jacket from Only which is obviously the highlight of my look post today. If you want to play safe, mix black and white, but in this case I wore black and white to let my polka jacket get all the attention! However, this is one of the rarest few looks where I actually love each and every piece that I am wearing, straight up to the ‘cool’ necklace!
Hope this quick dose of polka makes your Monday a lot more tolerable than usual!
Top : Femella (India) / Trousers : Dorothy Perkins / Bag : Lara Karen / Shoes : Metro
After a hectic beginning of the week filled with travel and a office fashion show followed by a much needed break to rest my aching muscles, I am finally back showing some lace love on my blog today! How have you been guys? Missed me?
I did this photo shoot quite a while back, but you know, lack of time and all! I always wanted to bring some lace into my wardrobe and finally found this pretty black top from a local Indian brand which looked lovely and suited my pocket quite perfectly. Also I have noticed myself gravitating towards slightly classy looks which is probably the reason I fancied these pair of jacquard trousers and eventually bought them. But I couldn’t help adding some edge to this outfit with a studded clutch! but I believe this still remains more of a classy look than an edgy one. What do you say? I love it either ways though!
Jeans : ADL / Crop Top : Only / Bag : Lino Perros / Shoes : Nineteen / Hair band : Koovs / Finger Rings : Accessorize / Rest of the jewellery : Local shops in India
A hot and humid summer evening does call for a very casual laid back look. And there cannot be anything more comfortable than a light-weight distressed denim and crop top combo in a pastel shade. That precisely was my thought when I picked up this outfit for an evening walk which included a photo shoot as well. This is the second look I created with these pastel pair of jeans, (previous post here) and I know they look quite different in this post after all the DIY techniques that I applied on it! I ripped the hemline and slashed near the knee giving it a moderately distressed look. I accessorized my outfit of the day with a hint of white and gold primarily to give a casual yet evening feel.
I know most of you are still wearing your coats and I am seriously jealous of you! But, since I cannot change the weather of my city, I might as well look at the brighter side of life and enjoy the bliss of wearing summer clothes and colors right from the beginning of March!
With Spring just round the corner a post on floral inspiration seemed to be a must have on my blog. I am a sucker for bright colours and vibrant prints and florals are one of my favourite pattern to adorn, be it spring or fall! Fashion or nature, the sight of a blooming flower instantly brightens up a day, doesn’t it? So, what are you waiting for? Take cue from my floral inspiration post today and stock up your wardrobe and your surroundings with the vibrance of floral patterns!

Playing around unpredictable colors and patterns is a fun way to style an outfit and today I chose to do exactly that. With a classic striped pencil skirt the most obvious choice would have been a black top, but I wore a monochrome printed shirt instead. Adding a dash of color is always my style and this look post wasn’t any different in that aspect! Check out the cool tribal printed red clutch and the all time favourite red heart pendent! I was a bit apprehensive initially but this complex mix of patterns did give good results!
See you soon with a new post. In the mean time would love it if you drop you thoughts on my look of the day!
Crop Top : koovs / Jeggings : Elliza Donatein / Shrug : Peacoat / Shoes : Carlton london
I was in a mood to wear an overdose of leopard print today without over doing it! Crazy isn’t it? But I did manage to fulfil my crazy desire and go slightly over-board on leopard, yet in a tasteful way. The moral of the story is : Dare to break fashion rules once in a while and have fun!
I had to struggle hard to keep my eyes open against the blazing sun and I am glad you can’t quite make it out in the photographs, but apart from that my photo shoot wrapped up today without much of hassles and goof ups
Happy Holi to all my Indian readers and a very happy weekend to the rest of you all!

An all-white outfit looks significantly refreshing in summer. I know half of the world is still under snow till today, but we are experiencing full fledged summer already. The only comforting factor is being able to wear summer clothes, like this white look of today. I am keeping my accessories simple with a little heart pendent, my all time favourite accessorize rings and these mirror sunglasses.
Sometimes less is more and I seriously have very little to talk about this look. I would like to think it’s stylish, let me know if you agree with!!!!
