Another piece of my design picked for an outfit shoot! Yeah, this pink corduroy dress is a part of my recent collection too and though I am not much of a ‘light pink’ person, the slightly toned down version of the shade quite appealed to me. Plus the length and the fit was just right for a casual summer evening out. Agreed it’s too hot to wear a jacket, but if you are indoors in AC most of the time, a denim jacket surely comes handy. My all time favourite wayfarers from Ray ban and black booties from Mango were the perfect co-ordinates to create a cool, summer street look.

Hello lovely readers! How has been your Sunday so far?
My Sunday has been quite relaxing after a very long time. Work kept me quite busy for the last 2 weeks and I was running out of blog posts to publish. Finally got to do some photo shoots today and here goes the first one from the lot. I am wearing a complex mix of prints, colors and patterns today and totally loving it! I would normally wear something in black or white with a skirt like this one, as you might have seen in one of my previous posts. But today was a day to have fun with something unusual and interesting! Precisely why I mixed this cute paisley printed top from Only and pink heels with a striped monochrome skirt. Must say, I am happy with the results and would love to know your thoughts on the same!!
For those of you who had been enquiring about my new posts, thanks a lot for being patient and I promise to be more regular in the future!

Blue is my favourite shade this summer and I am not getting enough of it lately. Here is another outfit showing my latest blue obsession. This off-shouldered jumpsuit has been lying in my wardrobe for quite a while now and this is the second time I am wearing it for a blog photo-shoot. I love the comfortable cotton knit fabric and anything off-shouldered is quite ideal for the Indian summer. Also love the fact that this jumpsuit is quite elegant and gives such a feminine look instead of the casual feel of regular jumpsuits. With a piece as beautiful as this, the best thing is to keep the accessories to a minimum and the let one item of your look get all the attention. I also did the dark eyes, nude lips kind of make-up with an attempt to bring out the sensuousness of the outfit.

How about mixing different elements of fashion in a single look? How about trying something new? Well, I have done it all in this outfit shoot.
First, as the name suggests, this outfit is a mix of being casual, bohemian and festive; and second, I am wearing a hat for the first time!! We rarely wear a hat in India as it’s not quite in our culture, but I always wanted to wear on and never got it in my size. Narrow head problem!! I was elated to find this straw hat in Forever 21 that was in my size, bought it instantly and finally wore it today. This is obviously the season to stick to shorts, skirts and everything that speaks of summer comfort. Quite naturally I too picked up a pair of shorts and a summer appropriate printed top, the fringed bag gave a bohemian, festive touch to the outfit and of course the rest of it was casual and laid back.
My blog is the first place where I try out any fashion trend that I am otherwise apprehensive wearing. I am so glad I started blogging and this is one place that keeps me happy and positive all the time!
Would love to know your thoughts on my outfit today, so do leave me a comment below
Happy Wednesday! How are you all? I am in a Nautical mood today and I am loving the stripes, the navy detailing, the white accents and all things oceanic! Nautical themed fashion, textiles and architectures appeal to me a lot and of course in fashion it is quite a classic and all-season concept! The nautical colours and patterns are smart, stylish and yet laid back and that matches so perfectly with my personal style
So here is a nautical coated Wednesday waiting for you on my blog! Go, get inspired and don’t forget to let me know how you liked it 😉
My nails are surprisingly the most ignored part of my body. Although I keep them painted all the time but I always secretly wish to change my nail color matching it with my outfits but obviously I never get time to do so. Yesterday I finally went on a nail color haul and picked up a set of bright pastel hues befitting a bright summer. I came up with a quick and easy way to pamper my nails and thought it was blog worthy as this nail art is super quick, super simple and so much fun too work on! Agreed, it’s not one of the most original nail art ideas, but definitely a most forgotten one! I would also like to believe that a DIY nail art has to be this quick and easy, else many of us do not have the time and inclination to spend hours on our nails by ourselves. Am I right ladies?
So check out this multi colored nail art and let me know if you’d like to try it out yourself
Lately I have been taking short trips exploring the surroundings of Ahmedabad, treating myself to some mouth watering delicacies, getting into some shopping therapy 😉 and getting on with my usual work and blog routine. To be able to document my not so special life in a very special way makes me appreciate the small things of everyday life! Although my blog is more about fashion and personal style, a glimpse of the other things that I get my hands onto can bring in a refreshing change from time to time. So here is a little compilation of 4X4 size snaps that I shared on Instagram lately.
I am back home after a long day at work, followed by an evening out for coffee, dinner and a movie with husband and a friend. Quite tired and off to bed now
Enjoy the post and don’t forget to let me know your thoughts on it. Would love for you to give me a follow on my social media accounts as well so you don’t miss out on the itsy-bitsy details of my blogging life!

Hello my lovely readers! How was your weekend and how is Monday treating you?
We took a small day trip to Adalaj Step Well yesterday, a place just few kilometres away from Ahmedabad, and it was totally worth it. Adalaj Step Well has beautiful architecture and is indeed a photographer’s delight! I couldn’t help using the stone walls as a backdrop to my look post photo shoots and I feel the colors did total justice to the monochrome outfit that I was wearing.
I wore polka yet another time because of a very obvious reason-this polka printed top from Mango was too cute to resist buying! Teamed it with black jeggings and zebra printed pumps for a very urban, stylish, evening wear and I hope you liked it!
Do let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions you’d want me to answer in a video post ask me away in frankly.me. Have a great week!

Hello lovelies! I am so glad it’s Friday and after a hectic week at work I can now take some rest and of course give some more time to my blog over the weekend. I mentioned in my last post that linen is my favourite summer fabric and I am slowly gravitating towards wearing more of linen bottoms as the temperature is soaring really hight in this part of the world! So the highlight of today’s look is a pair of linen culottes bought from a local Indian brand called AND. I love pleated detailing of these culottes and they are great for both office as well weekend wear. The colour freak that I am, I had to add some red to my outfit and I guess the basic red crop top looks great along with the off-white culottes. I paired high heeled sandals and a printed red envelop clutch to give it more of an evening look. And there I am feeling comfortable yet fashionable as always! Oh yes, don’t miss my yellow nails please 😉 It’s another attempt to add some more colour to my outfit!
This is my first summer in the city of Ahmedabad and to be very honest I am getting roasted! It’s 45 degree celcius outside at the moment and and I am falling short of decent clothes to cope up with it. My profession demands me to look presentable (if not stunning) everyday and the insane temperature makes it impossible to be so. Of late I have started experimenting with different kinds of summer friendly fabrics so that I don’t have to compromise on the comfort factor while trying to look my fashionable best! :)So I decided to do another post on one my summer favorites article of fashion that has definitely helped me look good, feel good and at the same time beat the heat. Yeah, my favorite linen trousers, what would I have done without you?! So here is a list of my favorite linen summer pants with tips to style them.
1. Color Affair
Linen is a cool and breathable fabric that I adore in summer and the fact that they come in such great color options make it all the more brilliant. I love the slouchy versions the most and they look quite pretty with formal looking shirts for a office day and with a casual loose fitted tee for a hot and humid evening. For once you can look stylish yet summer-ready with a pair of linen pants any time of the day.
2. Print Play
Linen pants come in a great variety of prints too and it’s great to bring in an element of interest with your favorite kind of prints. You can team a printed linen pant with one of your favorite basic tops for a casual look or go experimental with another printed blouse for some summer fun.
3. Length Matters
Culottes, shorts and mis-fit types are great for a summer weekend out. You can go crazy with any kind of top and yet be sure to feel cool and relaxed, not to mention fashionable in one of these trendy linen bottoms.
All my readers from warm countries, I hope you find this article helpful! If you are from somewhere cold ( I envy you!) then I would love to know your favorite clothes and accessories to cope with the extreme weather conditions. See you soon with another post.
