In my last monochrome outfit post I mentioned about working with a few online fashion sites and featuring some of their items on my blog. Today I am wearing a pair of black ankle length pants from Rosegal and a classic black choker from Dresslily. I love both the items and they are a great addition to my wardrobe and my personal style.
As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side! I have often seen many of my European blogger pals complaining about the extreme cold weather in their countries. They crave for some sunshine and for the weather to get warmer. I am from a tropical country with excessive sunshine and I love everything about the winter season. I love the smart winter fashion, the creativity of layering and of course the snow. But since it’s impossible to change geography, the least I can do is try to pretend it’s fall weather by wearing some fall colors. I am teaming black, navy and maroon and would like to believe they look great together.
The maroon shirt was pretty much my work uniform back during my 9-5 job days. I always loved it’s rich maroon shade. It feels good to be able to pull the same shirt out again for a look post on fall colors. Wish I had these pants back then to put together a cool work-wear for creative professionals!
I will be back soon with more outfit inspirations and new fashion brands for you to check out! Until then enjoy your mid week with a warm cup of coffee and cookies!
