Cody and Me!

by

Although I try to maintain a positive vibe on my blog, in my last outfit post I did rant a bit about how difficult it has become for me to do a blog photo shoot in this new city. I am really touched by all the kind words and support that some of you have sent across in reply to that post. Thank you so much! The results have been wonderful and I am back again in my happy positive self. In my Snapchat (@styleovercoffee) I have already announced that I’d be introducing someone new on my blog today. So here is he! Say hello to Cody, my adorable, camera shy, clumsy Dalmatian!

I am a huge animal lover and being around animals always make me happy. I have two dogs- Cody, the Dalmatian and Casper, a Cocker spaniel. I have already featured Casper on my Casual Wear Fashion Photography post long time back when he was a small baby. Thought it would be a good occasion to introduce Cody today along with my look of the day.

To know more about my handsome Cody, do take a peek at my guest post for Tea in the Tub blog. I guess it wasn’t the best decision as I chose to wear a striped pencil skirt today and handling a big clumsy dog in a pencil skirt is not easy. May be a pair of shorts or a jeans would have been an ideal attire! Nevertheless, we managed the photo shoot quite well and I think the outcome is not too bad. What do you think?

I know Cody is already stealing the limelight in this post, but let me quickly take you through my outfit as well. As mentioned earlier, I am wearing a striped pencil skirt from an online shop called Koovs along with a red turtle neck top. The idea of having Cody along was to create a graphical drama. My necklace is from a street shop in Jaisalmer. For more details on the brands that I am wearing, please refer to the list in the end of the post.

Hope you enjoyed my look of the day and my photo shoot with Cody! See you soon with another post.

Have a great day!

Ha..ha Thanks Anu. My dog is not quite a poser. In fact he’s very camera shy. I guess it was my lucky day that he chose to pose! 🙂

Aww Cody is adorable. I can only get my dog in photos after he’s tired out on a long walk. I love the contrast with his spots and your stripes Lauren livinginaboxx | bloglovin

Ha..ha..I know, it’s really difficult to make pets pose for photographs. Honestly, I didn’t have a very easy time shooting this outfit with Cody! Thanks for your comment. So happy to know you liked the post 🙂
