Crop Top, Bag and necklace : Koovs / Pallazo Pants : Flea Market in Mumbai / Shoes : Metro / Finger Rings : Accessorize

Last to last week I had visited Mumbai to attend a fashion show organised by my office. (For those of you who are new to my blog, I also work as a Design Manager for Arvind Limited (India) Denim Division.) When you are in Mumbai even for the shortest period of time and love to call yourself a bit of a shopaholic, you have no excuse but to go flea market shopping for sure! For my readers outside India, Mumbai has some of the best flea markets in India! So off I went to Linking Road bearing the scorching sun and came back with this lovely pair of palazzo pants. Given the current temperature of my city, these cobalt palazzos are the comfiest thing in my wardrobe and I can wear them almost everyday!

Teaming these pants with a crop top is one of the wisest choices to make (blame again on the weather) and carrying a Aztec printed bag quite completed the look.

It was nearly impossible to keep my eyes open in the bright morning sun. Could you figure that out from my photographs? But that was precisely the reason why there are quite a few photographs with downcast eyes!! 🙂 LoL! I let out the secret! Being a Fashion Blogger has never been that easy for me. Specially clicking ‘fashion blogger street style’ looks have been the toughest. I tried doing this photo shoot early morning and before going off to work. But even then it was way too sunny for comfort! If you are a fashion blogger, how else do you successfully click your outfit shoots in extreme weathers? Come on, tell me your secrets too! Also, don’t forget too also let me know thoughts on my look of the day!

Cobalt is such a beautiful color and makes such a splash when paired with black. The pants look great on you and I love your handbag. Sharon http://www.afashioncrowd.blogspot.com

Thank You Sharon! Agree with you, cobalt and black is one of the classic combination! And the best part about these pants are that their are super comfortable as a summer wear 🙂

Thank you Jasbir! That’s really sweet of you. But seriously, if you like to wear something please wear it! Life is too short to keep thinking about age, body type, skin colour…and all such useless fears! Have a great day! 🙂

You look absolutely gorgeous. Love the top as well as the pants…. I would also like to tell you that my wife is a huge follower of yours. She wants to try everything you wear. She has got the same pair of Black Metro Shoes that you have and that has become her most favourite footwear in no time. She wears them everyday and with each and every kind of attire, be it saree, salwar suit, or jeans and top.

I love the handbag — especially the print on it, is that what u would call an ‘ikat’ print? https://hideorgochic.wordpress.com

Hello there! Thanks a lot for your lovely comment. This is not an ikkat print though it might look so in the photographs. The print on the bag is actually aztec (tribal inspired print). ikkat is more of a dyeing technique than a print. Shoot me an email if you would like to know more about it 🙂
