It’s Christmas, it’s the New Year and it’s that time of the year when everyone is happy and excited and all set to dress up and party! Festivity is in the air and we all want to look and feel good, don’t we? 🙂
Today I am going to share some extremely easy to do DIY festive nail arts to put your best nails forward! After all it’s the festive season and we all deserve to have the best of everything after a hard year of work!
My favorite colors for any kind of festival are red and gold. These two colors instantly set the mood and brightens up a look. So get the bottles of your favorite nail paints in red and gold and get ready to follow the step-by-step instructions below:
1. Heart of gold!
Very simple and very cute, these golden hearts can adorn your nails from Christmas till the Valentine’s Day!
Paint your nails in any shade of red, dip your nail brush in gold and draw little hearts in one corner of the nail. I prefer doing things free-hand, but if you are not comfortable feel free to use heart shaped stencils.
2. Red and gold and red and gold…..
This is a busy girl’s quick tip to get festive with her nails. Just paint red and gold in alternate nails and bingo! your nails are all set to look gorgeous!
3. Golden Splatter

This one is my favorite, because its easy all the same yet it looks as if you have spent so much time doing it! Paint your nails with a red base coat, let it dry and than splatter some gold on it. It take less than 2 minutes (minus the drying time) to get these beautiful nails.
So, what do you think? Aren’t these DIY nail arts super cute and ridiculously easy to do? Do let me know your thoughts and would love to see your photographs in case you try any of them 🙂
Merry Christmas to all my lovely readers! Hope you enjoy your heart out! 🙂

January 5, 2014Thanks lovely! I do a bit of illustrations as well and that’s why can manage to avoid a shaky hand while doing such intricate designs 🙂 You can definitely take help of stencils if you like 🙂
