Today’s mood is all black, white and grey. Whenever I try to wear anything in black, white and grey, I feel an strong desire to play safe and create a monochrome look. I did exactly the same with these grey trousers today. When I pulled them out of my wardrobe to do a photo shoot, I could think nothing beyond black and white. Thank God there are accessories in the fashion world to break such monotony and mind-set! Accessories can seriously add the much needed spark to any look. I think this look of mine could have been quite predictable without the pop of red. I picked this necklace from a street store during our visit to Jaisalmer a couple of months back and I am sure you have seen the eenvelop clutch several times before on my outfit posts. These two accessories really lifted my look of the day (of course my red nails and red lip color helped a bit as well!)

This is one tip that I always give to all fashion lovers- add some quirky accessories to take any outfit from ‘Ok’ to ‘WOW”! What other ways to do you give your basic or predictable looks a lift?

I pretty much only wear neutral colours in patterns or they are too boring for me. And of course I need some colour to go with that, usually I wear any kind of red, emerald green or bright mustard yellow to accompany it

I love grey. I have to make a concerted effort to stop it from completely dominating my wardrobe because I am so drawn to it.

Grey is indeed a beautiful color! I wear less of it coz I live in a hot and humid place, but every opportunity I get (plus in winters) I try to buy a thing or two in grey! 🙂

I really love this black and white look. The graphic stripes (and so much of it!) is really quite striking, and I like that everything your’e wearing has some kind of texture to it. Beautiful! Victoria
