Black is often considered a winter color, especially in the fashion world. Often all the fashion tips that you read would ask you not to wear black (or any dark colour for that matter) in warm summer months. Technically this makes sense because black absorbs all the heat and reflects none and you tend to feel warmer in a black outfit compared to any lighter color. But talking from a fashion and style point-of-view where most of us do not mind a little compromise on the comfort factor, one can always ignore those fashion tips and fashion rules and wear blackk in summer. As you all know, I have always maintained that comfort is a integral part of my style sense so it might seem that by saying ‘compromise on comfort’ I am contradicting all the style statements that I had made in the past. But no, I am actually not doing anything like that 🙂 If you look at my outfit today, I very well stick to being comfortable yet stylish, as always! My skirt is super short and my top is light-weight with laser cut-outs. I have also kept my make-up minimal and tied my hair high up to beat the heat. Basically what I am trying to say is, if you get your silhouettes right, you an make any color work for you any season. In my last post on summer fashion, I had worn quite a covered up outfit including a light-weight trench coat. Choosing darker colors for that outfit would have made it look quite inappropriate for the current season and climate. The bottom line is that I have personally tried out all the fashion tips and advices that I give to you all on my blog! 🙂
So, that is how we fashion bloggers work on our outfit/style posts. To be honest, a lot of thoughts go into picking a product or a look for a photo shoot and it feels great to be able to share our behind-the-scene stories with you all, from time to time.
I hope you enjoyed my all-black outfit of the day. If you have any thoughts or questions, feel free to drop them all in the comment section below.
Have a great day! 🙂
