Today was a rare day when I planned to break free from my love for bright colors at least for once. I wanted to try out something more neutral for a change.
When you live in a country like India that is known for its rich and colorful culture, you feel encouraged to wear something vibrant all the time.
Or at least I do!
Thus, I stuck to my plans of wearing neutrals, but couldn’t help adding in a pop of red though!
The red top I am wearing is a darling! It’s ultimate in comfort and a total must-have on a sunny humid day. It’s a basi piece picked from a local brand but i can wear it every single day this summer. My pants are from Lee Cooper and I love the pleats near the waist band tapering down towards the hemline. Not the usual skinny pairs that I am used to wearing most often. I believe this combo is a perfect blend of style and comfort. I added a multi-string black necklace and a black bracelet to balance the color of my shoes and the bag.
Phew, too much of a thought process in planning a blog outfit.
I don’t know why I feel the need to justify everything that I wear!
We started our photo shoot early morning but had to really hurry through the shoot. It was progressively getting more hot and humid and I didn’t want to sweat like a pig in my photos. I am glad we at least got a few good snaps for the post. We treated ourselves with some yummy ice creams before heading back home, which is pretty much a ritual for us on summer days.
How do you like my ‘RED’ look of the day?
