Today we visited the City Zoo to break the monotony of staying at home the whole of last week. When we shifted to Guwahati, I did have an idea that my blog would probably get effected the most because of the decision. But I had no idea my blog would get effected to this extent. I know it would be highly inappropriate to keep ranting about a particular place as my effort has always been to keep Style Over Coffee a positive space. So, instead of complaining about things that are bad, let me concentrate on things that are not so bad! For instance, nature and wildlife are always beautiful and I am always in a happy mood when surrounded by any of these. A trip to the zoo was indeed very refreshing despite the crazy heat and humidity and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Teaming my denim shirt from New Look with a pair of light-weight cord pants and flat fringe boots was definitely a good idea to stay comfortable and yet create a ‘blog-able’ style! This outfit is pretty close to being a basic but I have added some spark to it with accessories. I love basics and comfort is definitely a priority for me when I am taking a trip out on a summer day. But when doing a blog photo shoots, a very basic look might get a bit boring. Thus my effort is always to create outfit combinations that are appropriate for the occasion and yet has an element of interest. Let me know if I have been successful in doing so with my denim shirt and cord pants combination!
I titled my post ‘Jungle Book’ purely because of the very jungle-like background. Guwahati has a very tropical scenic view with loads of greenery and we try to take advantage of the lush green backgrounds while planning our photo shoots.
Don’t forget to follow me on social media for all behind the camera fun from our photo shoots. The story of the day is now up on Snapchat (@styleovercoffee) for you to catch up on!
Bye for now! Have a great day!
