To begin with, it feels like on of the most humid weeks of the year! It’s October for God’s sake; can the temperature please drop below 30 degrees at least?! My argument with the weather will last forever! But at least I am taking advantage of the warm weather by wearing all my short summer clothes before it gets too cold to wear them any more! In one of my last posts I had worn a denim mini skirt and in this I am wearing a faux leather skirt with a pair of fishnet stockings. Also, I couldn’t resist wearing a leopard top yet again!
I have a serious obsession for all things leopard printed! I can wear a leopard top every single day of my life.
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know about my obsession with leopard print (and polka dots) by now. So, please don’t be surprised if I overdo these two prints on my blog!
One thing about leopard print is that it looks good on everyone. It’s pretty much a neutral, a classic, something that every woman can pull off.
Yeah, I do understand it might appear to be a bold print at first, but trust me it is not! If you have such reservations, try out a leopard print that isn’t too loud. I mean, smaller dots on a light beige background instead of a dark brown one. I know I am advocating leopard print little too much, but you know what, I seriously believe in it’s potential! 🙂
If you need more style inspiration on leopard print, I have loads of them on my blog! I am wearing the same animal print top here, another leopard print shrug here (after having it lying brand new on my wardrobe for 2 years, I finally sold it off) and another look-post with the same print here! Of course I have a lot more from the past if you scroll back and a lot more to come as I don’t see myself getting bored of wearing leopard any time soon.
I am glad fishnet stockings are in for a while. Every now and then I add a pair to my outfit for a much needed drama! Honestly, I do not find fishnet stockings very comfortable as they keep getting stuck to any sharp thing and I am constantly in a fear of them getting torn. But I have to admit they look pretty interesting and can add an instant spark to an outfit!
I am sure my leopard top and faux leather skirt combo looks a lot cooler with the fishnet stockings than without it!
