I am a crazy cat lady (crazy dog lady as well, if such a term exists!) and it’s obvious that I will represent those cute furry creatures in my outfits and inspirations as well, isn’t it? You might have read my recent Inspiration Wednesday : Feline Love post where I have included all things feline as my inspiration of the week. So it’s pretty obvious to live up to my own posts and proudly wear a cat themed outfit as a proof! 🙂 My look today is also very much a ‘street style’ kind and Pankaj picked an empty street as the back drop for the photographs. You see, I am also living up to my ‘Indian Street Style’ blog image! 😉
Enough of introduction, now let me talk a bit about my thoughts on putting together this outfit. Mixing contrasting elements is a part of my signature style and today I chose to mix a casual ‘meow’ printed top with a classy pencil skirt. All black always works but I added a bit of white as well with the Aztec bucket bag (also featured here) and zebra printed heels (animal print again! 🙂 ) Monochrome is a play-safe tip when in doubt but there are also a lot of ways to have fun doing the monochrome look. My outfit of the day is an example of having fun with the tried and tested monochrome colors, black & white. Let me also tell you that I love how comfortable and stylish this look is. My heels are not too high and my tee is made out of cotton fabric giving me all the comfort on a summer morning.
Would love to know your thoughts on my Indian Street Style look today, well not-so-Indian perhaps !
Take care and enjoy your weekend!
