Personal Style blog is not just about showing what I wear but also to create new outfit ideas to inspire the readers. I constantly strive to put together outfit combinations that are unique, inspirational and at the same time something that a real woman can try out as a part of her everyday (or special occasion) look. Playing around unpredictable colors and patterns is a fun way to style an outfit and this is a trick that I try out very often to put together new looks for my blog posts. Today I chose to do exactly that with  classic (and everyone’s favourite) pencil skirt to create a monochrome style.

With a classic striped pencil skirt the most obvious choice would have been a black top, but I wore a black and white printed shirt instead to turn it into a classy monochrome style. Adding a dash of color to almost any outfit I wear has always been my signature style and this look post wasn’t any different in that aspect! 🙂 Check out the cool tribal printed red clutch and the all time favourite red heart pendent! I was a bit apprehensive initially about putting together this look but this complex mix of patterns did give good results! 🙂 I always take the opportunity to thank my husband Pankaj (co-founder and photographer of Style Over Coffee) for making me look good on the photographs!

See you soon with a new post. In the mean time would love it if you drop you thoughts on my monochrome style of the day!

Keep smiling and keep having fun with fashion! For more inspirations on fashion and style, keep visiting my blog and follow me on social media! 🙂
