My Favourite Moisturiser Shopping Guide

What is that one beauty product I absolutely can’t live without? Yes, you guessed right, it is the moisturiser!

I have used a ton of different kinds of moisturisers in cream, lotion, gel and serum form, and no matter what type it is, a moisturiser has always helped my skin feel soft and supple, provided I have used the right one for my skin.

Now that I have committed myself to talk more about beauty on the blog, it only makes sense that I start by talking about my favorite beauty product to sort of warm myself up!

It is well established that a good moisturiser is an integral part of beauty and skin care routine and yet, I know there are many who still ignore this fact. I know this for a fact because I used to be one of them. I used to skip the moisturising process because I though that would made my skin to break out. That was indeed a myth and I am so glad I figured it out before I damaged my skin beyond repair!

Here is why a moisturiser should be your beauty staple :

A moisturiser keeps you skin soft, supple and well-hydrated.

A oil free moisturiser helps fight acne and pimple by providing a good oil balance so your oil glands do not get over active.

Moisturiser fights wrinkles and keep skin young and healthy.

Regular moisturising can keep a lot of skin diseases away.

I have listed some of my favorite moisturisers below that have really worked for my skin. I have a combination skin that breaks out easily ( here are my skin care tips for acne prone skin) so I stick to the oil-free version of any moisturiser that I use. I also tend to use a moisturising lotion or a serum instead of a cream because that works better for my skin type. If you are someone with a dry skin, you might want to go for heavier creams with oils for a more intensive moisturising effect.

I am also happy to let you know that as per my knowledge all these brands are cruelty free.

However, moisturise or any other skin care and beauty products can nourish you skin only at a superficial level. A lot of it depends on a healthy lifestyle and good health reflects through a glowing skin. Will be talking more about this on my upcoming posts. Until then, don’t forget to take care of yourself and moisturise regularly.

Of course, I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments on the post and if you like it enough, would love for you to share the love by sharing the post 🙂

Have a great Monday!

Bang on ! Agree that the most essential item in the vanity kit ought to be moisturiser more so in these winters, wherein keeping the skin hydrated and supple is a challenge.
