We all have our favorite beauty ritual we swear by and here is mine. After trying and testing for years with different products and do-at-home beauty tips, these are some of the skincare products that really worked for me. So I thought it would be a good idea to share them with my beautiful readers.

I have a combination skin that is very sensitive and I tends to get break outs even when I get even remotely careless with my skin care routine. So I stick to oil free, non-comedogenic skin care products. Here are the 5 basic skin care essentials that I simply can’t live without and they work wonders on my skin!

I wash my face with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash several times a day as I live in a hot and humid place. For those of you who live in cooler countries, twice a day should be good enough.

I do not use any toner. Instead, I wipe my face with cotton balls soaked in Rose Water.ย Rose water hasย anti-inflammatory propertiesย and aids in removing oil and dirt. It has astringent like qualities too and acts as a perfect natural toner. Dabur Gulabari Rose Water is an Indian Ayurvedic brand, that has a good range of health and beauty care items.

I exfoliate twice a week with Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub and this really helps keep my acne problems at bay.

I moisturize my facial skin with Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture for combination skin every time I wash or scrub my face. It’s lightweight and works really well in keeping a good shine balance on the skin.

When it comes to skin care I love to stay as close to nature as possible. I can swear by the goodness of Aloe Vera for both beauty and health. Now, the real Aloe Vera might not be accessible to many, I being one of them, and I found a great substitute in this Ayurvedic Aloe Vera Gel by an Indian Ayurvedic brand called Patanjali. So I carry my Aloe Vera in a tube now and use it as often as I want. I mostly use some whenever it gets too harsh on my skin with too much make up or pollution. Patanjali Aloe Vera gel contains 90% Aloe Vera and it is definitely the next best thing to the real Aloe Vera! Unfortunately I cannot provide a link to this brand as their site is under construction but hopefully would be updating this post in the near future.

I hope you find this post useful and please shot in any questions or comments that you might have! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great weekend!! Have Fun!! ๐Ÿ™‚
