Hello lovely readers! How are you all today!
It’s the first Monday of 2016 and I wonder if you too are still in the new year mood like me! As I look at the year gone by, I realize that It’s been almost three years since I started my blog and how much I have grown and evolved with it.
2015 has been a significant year for me and my blog. STYLE OVER COFFEE got featured in Baggout as one of the top 15 personal blogs in India and made it to the top 5 blogs in India in ‘Fashion and Lifestyle’ category for #WIN15 by Blogadda! Isn’t that cool! I also started my YouTube channel and a Travel and Lifestyle category on my blog! 2015 was also the year when I finally decided to take my blog to the next level and start collaborating with brands. Since then there has been no looking back and I have a lot of very interesting projects coming up in 2016 as well. While I unfold them all one by one to you in the coming months, let me take a quick break and share with you some of my favourite posts from 2015.
Here is a recap of my top 15 favorite outfit posts from 2015 and I sincerely hope you’d love them all :
Polka print has always been my favourite and I have worn a lot of polka dots throughout 2015. However, this polka look happens to be my first one of the year gone by and so will remain special for me. I am also glad to have found this pair of white denims that fits perfectly and I had been hunting for one for a very long time! A mini achievement I would say! 🙂
I have also been wearing a lot of monochrome colours lately and it’s difficult to pick one monochrome outfit that I love because it’s such a classy colour theme that it always look good. But this outfit happens to be one f my favourites as not only am I mixing two different kinds of monochrome patterns here, I am also adding a pop of colour with the envelop clutch.
I was lucky to find a great faux leather mini skirt and I also loved doing this interesting mix of rock-chic meets feminine babe look. It’s been a favourite then and it’s continuing to be a one of my favourite outfit post even today!
You might have rarely seen me wearing any hair accessories. So this happens to be one of those rare posts where I am wearing a really loud floral hand band. it feels good to venture out of comfort zone once in a while 🙂
Of course this one is a favourite! My first collaboration post and that too with one of my favourite online fashion shops in India! How lovely is this neon yellow dress! Absolutely love it!
Getting all sensuous and elegant in this blue off-shouldered jumpsuit. Love the colour, love the fabric and it is one of those outfits that make you look extremely stylish and yet so comfortable.
Once again a rare event of trying out a hat! Strange but true, I am wearing a hat for the very first time in this post. Also love the fringe bag here.
Mixing unusual prints, patterns and colours has been my favourite way to play with fashion and I am ding exactly that in this outfit. I am also a big fan of the photographs here that my husband took and I think the background kind of compliments the outfit so well.
This Indian printed jacket is so pretty, don’t you think? Indie labels often offer such unique pieces that you love for ever. I think this outfit made to my top 15 favourites primarily because of the jacket that I am wearing.
This body con dress is so fabulous and has such an awesome fit that it instantly makes you feel beautiful! Another collaboration opportunity that I am so happy to be a part of.
This is by far the outfit post with best photography. My husband Pankaj did an amazing job with his clicks and I absolutely adore this outfit!
I am slowly becoming a fan of culottes and palazzo pants. They are not only stylish but extremely comfortable as well. Plus it’s a good change from wearing skinny fits all the time. I really love this denim-on-denim look created with light-weight denim culottes and a crop top that I designed for the company I work in.
I used to be a DIY person until I joined my full-time job. It leaves me with very little time to do much of it, but I occasionally take out time to indulge into revamping some of my old and unused clothes. I love the way this denim shorts with lace turned around and of course this outfit is a favourite too. Check the post to see how to make a DIY lace denim shorts! 🙂
This post is a recent one and a favourite because I love the mix of lace and pencil skirt. it looks stylish and very feminine.
Another monochrome look out of the many that I styled during 2015 and I find this look very smart and chic. What do you think?
