What are dreams made of? All things beautiful, isn’t it? I always had a dream. My dream was to do something that I love and will love forever. I remember those days when I would drag my self to work every morning and sit through the entire 8 and a half hours in my work place just because I had to. I did have a choice but I was too scared to choose it. What if I failed? I know I only shared positive things on my blog, except this one “striped shirt” post where I took out my frustration quite a bit. But the truth is I wasn’t as happy doing my 9-5 job and there was always a strong desire inside me to be free and do what I love to do.
To cut the long story short, I wanted to be a full time blogger. That was indeed a difficult choice, it was difficult to part with the regular inflow of cash. I was unsure if my blog would make it out of millions of wonderful fashion blogs out there. But I still wanted to do it. I wanted to write about fashion; summer fashion, fall fashion, fashion trends and everything in between. I also wanted to style those trends my way and document them on my blog. These are the things that always gave me happiness. I finally decided to take the plunge and chase my dreams anyways. I am a full-time blogger right now and happy as I can be!
You must be wondering why am I getting so philosophical today! When we planned our photo shoot today, I was wondering what should be the title of this post. The star printed dress from Ek Taara gave me the idea of the content of this post and it’s title. After all that’s what I am doing, trying to reach for the stars and keeping my feet firmly planted on earth.
But hey, I am not going to be all philosophical and completely drift away from fashion. Don’t worry! So, let’s talk about fashion now and about my outfit of the day. We are experiencing transition weather at the moment and this is probably my first fall fashion outfit of the year. It rained today bringing the temperature down a bit, so I could team my star printed dress with a shrug creating a fall fashion attire (well almost!). Well, this doesn’t mean my summer wear are all packed and kept away. The weather is pretty unpredictable, which means you might see me in shorts one day and in sweater the other day!
Anyways, never mind my weather report and just enjoy the post for now and let me know your thoughts.
See you soon! Have a great day! 🙂
