It seemed like yesterday when we celebrated the New Year Eve and we are almost at the end of it’s first month! Time flies at a lightening speed and all we are left with are memories from the past! Today I have decided to take a short break from my busy schedule and take a look at the year gone by.
2014 was filled with events and developments that brought about big changes in my life. While some left me with encouragement and hope, others gave me sleepless nights!! But this is life and whatever it throws at us only makes us who we really are. So, no regrets! 🙂
2014 is also a significant year for my blog where I gave it a much needed make over, a new name and site address 🙂 It also gives me a wonderful feeling to see a steady growth in terms of views and followers in Style Over Coffee all throughout 2014 and I can’t thank you enough for being always so encouraging and supportive!
Today I would love to present a recap of my top 15 favorite outfit posts from 2014 and I sincerely hope you’d love them all :
I am forever in love with bright colors and teaming them with black makes me the happiest! I particularly love this look because I also got a background matching the color of my pants. Definitely added a cherry on top!
I wore too many jumpsuits all throughout 2014 but this remained my favorite look so far. It was comfortable, stylish and the color black just added the right amount of elegance. Also, don’t miss the pop of red! 🙂
Experimentation has been one of the key elements of most of my look posts in 2014 and I really love this bohemian and tribal mix outfit with a headband. I usually donot wear head bands but thought this would complete the look and bingo(!) this post got me some of my best views.
This happens to be another of my experimental looks! Not only am I wearing a DIY distressed denim but also pastel colors for the very first time. I usually avoid pastel colors and always thought it wouldn’t suit my skin tone but after this photo shoot I don’t think the same way any more!! 🙂
Mango is one of my favorite fashion brands and this olive green Mango dress straight away made it to not only the must-have category of my wardrobe, but this photo shoot also remained one of my favorites from 2014. Simple yet classy, don’t you think?
A red dress, crazy poses and perfect lighting really created a great backdrop for the shoot of this outfit and I absolutely loved the outcome. Also, I wore a large flower in my hair, something you might have rarely seen in any of my other look posts 🙂
When everyone’s favorite denim mini skirt meets an evening top in bright red it gives that lovely casual look that you’d love to wear again and again! More so if the rest of the accessories are red as well! 🙂
A classic summer shirt dress with simple accessories and large sunglasses, this outfit was so comfortable and stylish that I am sure to wear it the coming summer too!
This photograph would look very stylish and elegant with this beautiful flowy maxi skirt but that is not the only reason why I love this outfit. We had a terrible time keeping the skirt and my expressions in place against the crazy wind on the terrace and the harsh sun rays straight on my face and yet we managed to do a great job. Makes this photo shoot all the more special!
There is no denying I am a crazy cat lady and getting to wear anything feline makes me happy! I am proudly wearing loads of cats splashed all over my blouse and loving them all! Meow!! 🙂
I wanted to make it an all white look but still added some tan to it. Had fun shooting the whites against the lovely blue sky!
Polka is one of my favorite prints and I can never get tired of wearing it over and over again. These slouchy polka pants were seriously comfortable and this also happens to be my first photo shoot after moving into a new city.
These pants are a part of one of my initial designs in my new job and I loved how casual and stylish this total Indigo outfit looked. Plus, the gorgeous necklace is one of my prized possessions hunted out from a street shop! 🙂
Loose and comfortable silhouettes took me through the crazy summer heat of the new city we moved in a few months back and I wore a lot of them during my last few look posts of 2014. And of course I wore polka again and this time in the form of a crop top designed by me! 🙂
This look is a favorite because this is the maximum layering I could play with during winter as we hardly got any! But I am still in love with the tribal printed shrug and intend to wear it at the very next opportunity I get! 🙂
I hope you liked going through my top 15 favorite outfit! I sincerely thank my husband Pankaj for helping me with his wonderful photography skills! Don’t forget to check out more of his work in Instagram!
Once gain wish you a prosperous 2015 and thank you for being the best readers ever! Love you all! 🙂
