Today’s style post is all about one single colour dominating the entire outfit. I chose colour red because it is one of my favourites. When you go shopping, sometimes you end up being too lucky. It was my lucky shopping day when I found the perfect red printed shirt, the perfect red shoes , the perfect red nail color and of course the red pendant to match. It becomes a lot easier to put together a style post when all the items are colour coded. I don’t have the most versatile wardrobe yet and I am not the richest of girls, but I am working towards creating one that is close to my ideal wardrobe mix. My shopping advice to all would be to create a right balance between your basics and on-the-moment fashion trends. These high waist shorts for instance are a cool trend at the moment and thus I had to buy one to show you how to style it in various ways for summer. One the other hand, the printed shirt that I am wearing, though not a basic because of the loud colour and print, is something that I can carry forward many seasons down until it starts looking old or am too bored of it. So, that is how I plan my shopping so that I can make good use of my budget.
The photographs are a bit graphical because of the bright colours against the white backdrop. I always love to use a plain wall for my style posts (like the fashion photography here) though most often it’s not possible. Luckily I had a red bean bag too that we could use to add some extra colour too the already colourful look! God! I am indeed a colour freak!
It’s past mid-night as I am typing out this post and really need some sleep. The internet was playing up all these while so it was impossible to compose this post any earlier. I am going ti wrap up for now and if you have any questions, you know you can always ask in the comment section below or in social media with the hashtag #styleovercoffee.
Bye for now and I hope you enjoyed my style post of the day and could use some of my shopping and style tips to plan your wardrobe and everyday outfits too 🙂
