Red Trench Coat + DIY Denims

by

The count down begins, for Christmas and for my birthday! This is my favorite time of the year when I am in a state of perpetual happiness! Well, that’s a good thing I suppose because happiness is quite a blessing.

I have nothing special planned for my birthday month or for my birthday, but it’s kind of  nice feeling to be born on such a special day-25th December!

Plus, the weather gets really pleasant during December in my city. You might have already seen me layering my outfits with  light jackets and blazers in my recent look posts. It’s still too early for coats and sweaters though.

As you all know my style is classy, laid back but never without an element of fun.

Today’s outfit is no different. I love this red trench coat (have also worn it here and here) because it is light weight and it is red! It is also a great cover up for chilly winter days. You also know about my DIY ripped jeans, don’t you? If not, check out the post here to know how I made this pair.

I have styled my DIY ripped jeans in a completely different retro style in the past, and here is a more classy version wearing the same pair. Don’t forget to let me know which look is your favorite 🙂

I just realised I haven’t bought anything new for a very log time. It has been quite an unplanned shopping ban for me. 2017 wasn’t a great year for me health wise. I was sick most part of the year and for several days at a stretch. That could be the reason I was losing focus on my blog and blog related activities, which includes shopping as well. On a positive note, the unaccepted shopping ban was of course good for my wallet!

However, it is December already and if I don’t shop now when will I, eh? So, I have already shared my Christmas Gift Guide in my previous post to get started with and will start shopping for Christmas and the New Year soon. I know it’s pretty late but I am sure I can catch up 🙂

Are you done with your Christmas Shopping?

Let me get back to my shopping list while you enjoy my look of the day with DIY ripped jeans and red trench coat combo. I sincerely hope you do! I will be back soon with more of fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle on the blog. If you have any questions or concerns, do drop in your thoughts below.

Have a great Monday and a great week ahead!

You look great in your red trench coat and jeans! I wouldn’t look good in red, but you pull off the look very well. 🙂

Born on the 25th December is a really special date indeed!! It must be hard to plan something when the Christmas Parties are always on in December. I loved your style and the way you put together two strong colors, the red and the blue that I’m a fan, X

Red and blue. Perfect combination to showcase your identity and style. I am a big fan of denims and I have huge collection of them. But still searching for the new ones.

Red is this years colour and you can see why it totally suits you. And love how you’ve styled it with the jeans.
