Sleeveless Trench Coat + Bootcut Denim

I adopt a new fashion trend late because I take a while to relate to it or because I cannot find the perfect piece in that trend.

I can’t tell you how long I had to wait to find a perfect pair of bootcut denims! Talking of waiting, I had to wait for a long time to wear this sleeveless trench coat too. It was sent to me by Zaful quite sometime back and I couldn’t wear it immediately as the weather wasn’t right for a trench coat, even a sleeveless one! But I guess it was worth the wait, because I found the denims on sale and could pair my sleeveless trench coat with them. So, for me, 2017 has been a year of ‘waiting to buy the right things’! Giggles!

The reason why I love this trench is because of it’s classic colour and silhouette, and also because it is sleeveless. I can already think so many different ways I can wear this coat and I am so excited to show you all my styling ideas. I have the same feelings about these bootcut denims too.

I am so glad bootcut is back in fashion giving us more options to wear denims.

I was really getting bored of skinny denims even though they suit my body type really well.

What about you? Are you particularly thrilled about any new fashion trend or too bored of any old ones?

I can’t believe Christmas is just 10 days away and so is my birthday!

This year we are planning to keep Christmas and my birthday pretty low key by spending time with Pankaj’s parents at home. I am planning to cook as well and that is not a very safe situation! Well, I am arming myself with a good recipe, creamy chicken and mushroom pasta. How does that sound? But I am still looking for ideas for a easy desert. If you are a food blogger or love cooking, please send some tips my way 🙂

I really wanted to give you some fashion tips today, but I am so preoccupied with the last minute preparations for the Christmas day that I can’t even talk about any other topic right now. But don’t you worry, me and my fashion tips will always be there for you. Just keep checking my blog and keep following me on social media for all sorts of fashion and fun updates! 🙂

For a dessert, you might want something with fruit to contrast with the heavy sauce of the chicken. Just a thought.

I tend to adapt to fashion trends late as well because I normally can’t find a version that suits me but I think that you have made the bootcut denim trend look fabulous! I really love how you paired it with the camel sleeveless trench coat. Such a stylish look!

Boot cut has so many bad fashion connotations for me. I don’t think I can get on board. Lol!

Your birthday is on Christmas?!?! I know my grandfather’s birthday was on Christmas Eve and he really never liked the holiday, which is sad. I hope you have an amazing day. And you look great in the boot cut pants and top. You still rock the heels.
