Another week and a new post! Hello everyone! Hope you haven’t noticed that my MIAs have been pretty regular these days. If you have noticed, then thank you! Because that can only mean that you look forward to my posts.
I am back to my little blogging world wearing summer prints because it’s already summer in my city.
This shoot was actually done some time back when we were out having a Sunday brunch along with some of my blogger buddies I have recently met. All these while I was blogging in isolation and though I did meet some nice bloggers online, the friendship was virtual. For the first time after coming to this city, I have actually started getting out of the house on blogger’s meets and I can’t tell you how wonderful the whole experience is!
I would love to talk a bit more about my blogger’s meet experiences (before I start talking about my outfit of the day) and may be even do a blog tutorial post later on the importance of networking.
Meeting fellow bloggers make you feel normal because you realise that you are not the only one in the world facing all the problems with technology, photography or bloggers block.
There are a lot many out there like you with the same set of problems. Definitely a load off, right?
Along with my new bloggers friends, I am planning out a lot of interesting projects that are fun and creative. Will unfold them one by one on the blog soon. To cut the long story short, it definitely pays (may be not always in cash or kinds) to get out there and meet like minded people. The whole positive and energetic vibe is contagious if you are feeling low for any reason.
Let’s talk a bit about my outfit today. It’s been raining on and off and thus its the right kind of weather to wear summer prints on a dress but layer a faux fur vest over it to beat the chill in the air. I love this kind of weather. It’s neither too hot nor too cold. I teamed my ethnic printed mini dress with faux fur vest and fringed booties for a stylish yet casual look.
I often carry a hair band with me because it’s impossible for me not to tie my hair up when it gets too hot and humid. When not in use, I wear my hair band as a bracelet. I usually remember to take it off for photo shoots but this time I forgot! 🙂 But glad I could share this fun fact about myself to you all. Next time I make a similar mistake, you will know why!
We did our photo shoot inside the cafeteria and for obvious reasons. I loved the red brick wall as a back drop and it matched my outfit perfectly. As the temperature is soaring up I am gradually taking out all my summer prints and will be wearing lot more of it in my upcoming look posts. If you like what I am wearing, the outfit details and links to similar products are at the end of the post for you to check out!
Hope you are having a great Monday so far and hope my colourful look today could drive away your Monday blues a bit.
See you soon with more. Have a great week ahead!
