I have been falling in and out of love with bold colors quite consistently!
Well, I never really fell out of love with colours, may be got a bit bored of them for a while. I got into neutrals, blacks and whites. Guess my love affair with bold colors is blooming again this Spring. This is not an official announcement or anything, but I will probably be back to wearing some brighter colors once again. This aspect also proves that my taste in Fashion is changing constantly and my blog is evolving with time. I don’t know yet where I am heading, but trying to enjoy the journey rather than thinking about the destination.
Since I have been wearing bold colors for a long time now. I think that qualifies me to give you a tip or two about how to incorporate them into your every day style.
I have often seen people shying away from trying out bright colors because such colors do draw a lot of attention. Or perhaps because they never tried them before and do not know where to start from. You can may be take one small step at a time. Start out with one bold color of your choice and wear it as an accessory. Adding a pop of bright in your outfit with a belt or a pair of shoes or even a bag is a great start. You can also try bright colored jewellery like the necklace I am wearing. As you gain confidence, you can start wearing bright tops and slowly work your way up to wearing an entire outfit that is filled with bold hues. It’s not an absolute necessity that you try out bold colors just because everyone else is wearing them. But if you really want to and it’s the discomfort that is holding you back, you got to try them out!
I am wearing a pair of bright orange ankle grazer pants (my favorite at the moment) teamed with a matching necklace and a equally bright cobalt blue blazer. If all of these weren’t bold enough, I also wanted wear a bright top but controlled myself at the last minute. Settled with a basic stripe top and black flats to balance out all the color drama. We headed to a near by coffee shop to grab a coffee while doing the photo shoot there. It was kind of nice, me and Pankaj are once again getting out of the house doing things we love. Seriously guys, health is wealth! So, please take good care of yourself and your loved ones, always.
On that note signing off for today and sending you all a lot of positive vibes for the new week!
Enjoy and stay out of trouble! 🙂
