Summer is officially over and winter is approaching fast! It is the perfect time of the year to create a wishlist of fashion must-haves for Autumn/Winter 2013-14. It is always a difficult task to restrict myself to a specific number while putting together a fashion wishlist, but I always stick to my magic number ‘5’! It requires quite a lot of trend research and editing before I finally publish my post, but I love the challenge !!
So here is my top 5 fashion must-haves for Autumn/Winter 2013-14:
There cannot be a winter without leather (in my case faux leather because I am against the use of leather and fur) and faux leather is one of the must-haves for me every winter. This AW13-14, I am looking at wearing faux leather leggings, pants and biker jackets with metallic detailing. The idea is to bring in a lot for edge to my fall wardrobe.
Animal prints are my all time favorite and I am on top of the world to see them getting really huge in AW13-14. While I am all set to incorporate animal prints head-to-toe (not necessarily in a single outfit 😉 ), I am sure to but some blazers, jackets and coats with animal prints. I am happy to celebrate my love for animals through fashion as well 🙂
While Spring/Summer 2013 was about monochrome stripes, Autumn/Winter 2013-14 is getting hot on plaids. Plaid pants, plaid scarves, plaid jackets and blazers; plaids are everywhere. Some cool plaid shirts are definitely a part of my fall ‘to-buy’ list.
My fall wardrobe is taking a edgy turn and definitely metals have to be a part of it. So I am all set to stock up on riveted bags and clutches, which are also a huge hit in the runway of Autumn/Winter 2013-14.
Last but not the least, jewellery is an essential part of every outfit, and this AW13-14 golden chain necklaces and chokers are a cool essential for every wardrobe. So don’t forget to grab some for yourself too! 🙂
This sums my fashion must-have list for Autumn/Winter 2013-14. Let me know your thoughts on it and do not forget to share your favorite fall fashion too.
I have made this compilation with pieces from my favorite high street brands Mango, Zara and River Island; but similar styles are available almost everywhere. So head to your favorite brands and labels to choose your picks!
