Me, Pankaj and a friend headed off to Mount Abu last Sunday on a road trip as you might have figured out already from my Instagram gallery. Past few days had been extremely rough and I so badly needed this break. Mount Abu is roughly 200 km from Ahmedabad and is the only hill-station in the whole of north-west India. As the climate is progressively getting warmer here and we craved for some cool fresh air, Mount Abu seemed just the right destination for a quick day trip. We started off at around 8 am in the morning and it was roughly a 4 hours drive until we reached the hill top. The view was wonderful, the air was a lot cooler and sun smiled bright upon us as we went ahead with out sight seeing taking breaks in between to grab some delicacies for lunch and snacks. We started by visiting the Gurushikhar Temple, spend some time in the bank of Nakki Lake and captured the last few rays of the setting sun with our cameras at the Sunset Point.

Mount Abu also seemed the perfect place to wear this Black Shawl Collar Coat that I received from SheIn a couple of weeks back. Ahmedabad is too hot to wear a coat at the moment but the chilly weather in Mount Abu is just what I was looking for to flaunt this very beautiful frock coat. I usually look for something comfortable to wear when I am travelling and this coat fitted my requirement so well. Not to mention it’s extremely stylish too! The coat has a leopard printed lining inside that gave me the idea to create an all-black look with a hint of leopard print. Yes, I did wear heels but if you notice my heels aren’t that tall and quite comfortable to walk around exploring the place. I could even climb some part of the hills in those! Surprised?!

It was almost midnight by the time we reached back home and we were extremely tired. But it was a day so well-spent, super fun and relaxing and me and Pankaj are already planning holiday very soon. Keep reading Style Over Coffee and be a part of our exciting journeys and experiences into the world of fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle! 🙂
