Sweater : Mango / Trousers : Vero Moda / Shoes : Lara Karen / Sunglasses : Idee / Jewellery : Local Shops in India

Our second day in Udaipur was indeed eventful as we did most of our sight-seeing on that day. Although just two days of a weekend is not enough to explore the whole of this beautiful city but we tried our best to cover at least the main tourist attractions. We visited the City Palace in Udaipur and it took us several hours to experience the colours, details and grandeur of this exquisite palace. It’s like a brilliant piece of historical art and one needs to witness it  from close quarters to actually comprehend the beauty and elegance of this palace.

Since I already knew it was going to be a  hectic day, I chose comfort in terms of silhouettes. I chose to wear these loose pants with hounds tooth print  from Vero Moda instead of jeans as they are far more comfortable. The over sized sweater from Mango helped me stay warm during the first half of the day. However, as the day progressed it got a lot warmer (even though it’s just January!) to keep wearing it any longer. As I mentioned in my previous two posts, a pair of flats is what I prefer while on the go as they are (once again) comfortable to walk around and explore a new place. So this look is essentially a mix of comfort and style just the way I love it! Check out the street style photographs of my first outfit.

Thanks to my husband Pankaj for capturing the fashion photographs of what I wore on the second day in Udaipur. Pankaj’s travel post describing the beauty of Udaipur more in details coming up next. Don’t miss it! 🙂
