As a Fashion Blogger, I am somewhat under pressure to look stylish in public. Of course a fashion blogger is a real person, but real people too can step out in style too and can be a bigger fashion inspiration primarily because they manage to look fashionable even without an entourage of stylists, make-up artist and the likes! I don’t claim to be the most fashionable girl in the planet but at least with my fashion design degree and some experience in the industry I feel I am in some position to send some fashion inspiration your way. So here is style inspiration of how to stay cool and look stylish even while running errands. In this post I am featuring my favourite kind of summer outfit- denim shorts and a light-weight cotton summer jacket, a outfit combination that is casual yet stylish.
When the mercury soars, I seek solace in loose silhouettes, shorts and soothing colors! Blue has always been my most favourite summer shade and the lighter it is the more serene it looks. So for a hot and humid day out I thought it to be the best to pair my Mango denim shorts (also wearing in this fashion blog post) with this loose cotton printed summer jacket for a perfect blend of comfort and style. I love the Indian print on the top and the little pom-poms on the tie-up cords and also love the fact that it’s so light-weight! Just when my outfit started looking too casual, I put on a pair of towering heels to it (don’t ask me how I walked in them! :)) and pouted in my gorgeous red lipstick to add some style!
Denim shorts are a fail-proof summer must-have and it’s extremely easy to style it with almost anything and everything. In fact my tip for a casual day wear is- When in doubt, wear Denim.
A lot of people look up to fashion bloggers these days for style inspiration and here is how you can look like a fashion blogger (of course, only if you want to) even while shopping for grocery. You can avoid the towering heels though.
Hope you have a great weekend!
