I think I am getting a bit too obsessed with animal prints. If one outfit post and nail art inspired by animal prints in the same month can be called obsession then yes, I am officially an animal print addict! So, here is my third animal print post of the month. This time I tried out zebra nails to kill boredom and realized it did look good enough for a blog post too! I am sure you can figure out that painting your nails in zebra is quite easy, but here is a step-by-step tutorial anyways 🙂
Zebra print is essentially monochrome so black and white nail paints were the obvious choices. I used white as a base color as I wanted to stick to the natural black and white zebra colors. I painted at least three coats of white paint to get the required opacity. It seriously took a very long time to dry. if you try this nail art please use fast drying nail colours to make your life easier!
The next step is to paint the stripes with a black colour nail paint. I used the regular brush that comes as a default with all nail colours, but if you wish to get thinner and more crisp lines, you may use a painting brush as well. However, in this nail art slight uneven lines are acceptable as natural zebra stripes are pretty uneven too! 🙂
And it’s as simple as that. The zebra printed nail art is done! Let it dry and wear a great monochrome outfit to go with the nail art! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed my zebra printed nail art tutorial and also hope you loved it enough to try it out on your own nails. Do share your photographs if you try this nail art at home 🙂
