I am wearing a faux fur and corduroy combo before the winter bids farewell in my part of the world!
As a matter of fact, winter is practically over and we are already experiencing the Spring weather. As much as I love winter fashion, I do get very lazy, almost dysfunctional, in winters! Therefore I am not quite unhappy that winter is gone for good. However, I definitely do not want to miss the opportunity of wearing a few winter pieces before it becomes absolutely unbearable to even look at them!
Further to my resolve to stick to slow fashion, you will find me repeating a lot of my garments from the past. I have worn this faux fur and corduroy garments in the past, though not necessarily together.
I designed these corduroy pants almost 5 years back for a company I was working at. They are pretty unique and therefore I decided to keep a pair for myself. Can’t believe they still look so cute and in-trend. The faux fur vest was gift from SheIn brand a few years back. I seriously didn’t think I would be able to put together a look with a vest that may very well be called ‘dated’. But guess I was wrong.
When mixed with the right accessories, the black, grey and white colours along with the powder pink, worked really well!
Like I always say, right accessories make everything better!
The rest of the pieces that I am wearing are all quite old too. You may have seen me wearing these sunglasses before. The high neck top was a gift from another brand that I have had for a while, and have worn several times on the blog and in real life. So are all the jewelleries. The only thing that is new are my high top sneakers which is a gift from my sister on my birthday.
I have always loved the low light photography where the light and shade create a dramatic effect on the shots. Me and Pankaj tried creating something similar today. Though these aren’t exactly low light shots as we do not need that amount of drama on an outfit like this! But I do love the lighting today and enjoyed the editing process with these photo shoot. Since pretty much everyone is into photography these days, including camera phone photography, I thought some of you would enjoy our photography and lighting conversation as well.
Also, you may have noticed that I completely removed the comment section from my blog. I was getting a lot of spam comments and it was extremely time consuming to filter them out and approve only the genuine ones. Therefore, if you need to get in touch with me, leave a comment or have a question, please do so on my Social Media handles.
I hope you enjoyed my faux fur and corduroy look of the day.
I will see you soon with a new post.
