Usually I stay off blogging on the weekends but today is an exception. I bought this red hot trench coat 2 weeks back and this post should have been published in the beginning of the week. But I was missing in action once again. I know I have been guilty of doing that pretty often these days. However, this time am not guilty.
I was off blogging because I recently joined the gym and for the last few days my movements were quite limited due to severe muscle pain. Not complaining at all, this is one of the best decisions I made.
The moment my muscles felt better, I rushed out of the house to do a photo shoot of my outfit and just couldn’t wait to post it! That explains the slightly untimely post of the day. Don’t you worry, it will be worth the read!
Summer is hitting us hard and the temperature is already over 30 degree Celsius in my city! In case you are wondering why a trench coat in such a weather; it’s a light-weight trench coat and definitely weather appropriate! 🙂 Plus it’s my favorite piece of clothing at the moment and that justifies wearing it all summer.
I bought it together with the striped top from one of my favorite online shops and quite unintentionally, ended up wearing them together.
I seriously love the red hot color of the trench coat. It’s a rich and bright shade that looks good with everything.
On rare events you come across just the right colour while shopping online (because colors look different on the computer/mobile screen) and I was definitely lucky while buying this red hot trench coat!
As you can see, I kept the rest of the look quite simple. When you have such a strong statement colour as the highlight, you need to do very little to make an outfit stand out. I can understand that bright colors is not everyone’s cup of tea and not everyone is very comfortable pulling off a vibrant red that I am wearing on this post. I hope my tips on how to style bright colors will come handy if you decide to take the plunge and start wearing some happy shades!
Hope you enjoyed reading the post and going through the photographs. If you like my outfit of the day and wish to shop similar products, the brand details and shopping links are given below. I can’t wait to share with you all my fitness regime, but I guess I will give it some time. But I will definitely be back soon with new posts on fashion and beauty!
Happy Weekend! 🙂
