Wearing Tiger Print in Cherrapunji

by

Cherrapunji was COLD, exactly as cold as the beginning of our Meghalaya Part 1 video, or probably more! It was about 12 degree Celsius during the day and reached 3 degrees at night. That must be ‘nothing’ for some of you arctic people. But I live in a very hot and humid area of city, definitely not used to that kind of a temperature! I had to wear several layers of woolens to keep myself warm.

But I am glad I visited a colder place, I finally got a good opportunity to wear my lovely tiger print cardigan!

Animal prints are quite ‘IN’ fashion and if you don’t own anything in that print, you might want to buy something! Even though I repeat a lot of my outfits on the blog and in real life, I still wanted to buy this tiger print cardigan as a birthday gift by my sister!

My top tip to wear any kind of animal print is to team it with black!

Animal prints are really bold and the best idea would be to keep the rest of the look simple. That doesn’t necessarily mean they cannot be worn with any other colours or patterns. But I would like to keep the colour scheme as neutral as possible and give the print all the attention it deserves!

That is exactly with I did with this tiger print cardigan. I teamed it with an all black outfit. However, I did have few extra reasons for doing so. Since I was travelling at the time of this photo shoot, I wanted to carry colours that I could team with most of outfits. And black is definitely a preferred colour in such occasions. I normally like to travel light. I know, quite unlikely for a Fashion Blogger right?

I am more into sustainability in 2020 than ever before and I do intend to style this tiger print in many more interesting ways and continue wearing it for a very long time. I will definitely be sharing more look posts wearing it in the future. For now,  I really love this look and I love how comfortable this cardigan is. It actually kept me warm for a very long time without having to wear a coat.
